Who doesn't love a VW camper van? They are synonymous with summer, the beach, festivals and generally having a good time with friends. We have always wanted our very own splitty but in the meantime (while we're slowly adding to the camper savings account!) I have made a small version for the wall!
We can look at this and dream.....
Available from my etsy shop in any colour combination you like!

Precious drawings
As a primary school teacher I often receive drawings from the children I teach. I love children's drawings, they are so innocent but also usually very funny! With that in mind I decided to turn a few of my favourite children's drawings into fabric dolls so they last forever!
Here are two of my creations and the original drawings they came from
They are made out of cotton with hand embroidered details.
I have since made these dolls for a few friends using their own children's pictures. I sell these dolls in three sizes (small 3-4 inches, medium 7-8 inches and large 11-12 inches) in my etsy shop. All you need to do is email me a scanned in copy of your child's drawing or post me the original piece (this will be returned with the doll!). If you are interested please follow the link in the 'Purchase items' tab above to my etsy store.

A few of my favourite things
As I've said before, a huge passion of mine is cross stitch. I also love the woods. I grew up in the South of England in a beautiful place called the New Forest - I will always consider it my home.
I have created some patterns for woodland themed buttons (I wanted to have a go making miniature cross stitch designs) and I love them!
They incorporate all of my favourite things.
The patterns are available to buy from my etsy shop. I'm feeling super kind so here's a free pattern for one of the designs - a squirrel!

I love cross stitch!
It's time to get to know eachother better, I'll start.... I absolutely LOVE cross stitch. Sometimes it feels like I spend all my free time with a needle in my hand focussing intently on tiny crosses on fabric! I suppose it does keep me quiet though so it can't be all bad!
My current project is based on my favourite artist Roy Lichtenstein. I have made my own version of his 1965 painting 'Girl With Hair Ribbon'. It's not finished yet but but there's not much to go now...I'd better keep on stitching!

Welcome!
Right, I think it's time to start my blog! But what to say for my very first entry? Well I suppose I'd better start by saying 'thank you' to anyone who is reading this!
My aim for this blog is for it to be a place for me to share my crafting adventures - and the things I make - with an audience. I love making things, and I get such a thrill from selling the things I make.
Everything I will post on here will be available on my etsy store, maybe this blog will help me give a few more of the things I make new homes!
